What happens next

1. AcknowledgementThe editor confirms receipt and gives your paper an ID.
2. Editor check and peer reviewThe editor checks scope and originality, then the paper is peer reviewed (see the peer review policy).
3. DecisionYou receive the decision and the reviewers’ comments.
4. FeeAfter acceptance, pay the fee.
5. PublicationYour article is published online with a DOI.

Any submission is published within 4 to 5 days of acceptance, whatever the date it is submitted. There is no monthly deadline.
